Welcome to Jumpin' Jaybird Studio! My name is Jennifer Kocher-Anderson, and I am your local teacher!
Originally from Norwalk, Ohio, I graduated with a degree in Marketing and Studio Art and made my way to Wyoming in 1996 to experience a new way of life. My husband Scott and our family call Etna our home. I am a wildlife artist using pen and ink with watercolor. I focus on local wildlife as well as fly fishing themes. My artwork is available for purchase at local shows, the Art Shop in Moose, WY, Orvis in Jackson Hole, online or just contact me for a personal viewing. I am also available for custom work such as personal pet portraits or a grouping of your favorite fish and tackle. I believe strongly in encouraging children (and adults!) to try new things while giving back to the community. My mission is to promote creativity and help Star Valley families find their inner artist in a fun, professional and safe environment, at an affordable price. To accomplish this mission, I offer afterschool and summer art programs for kids in Alpine, Etna and Thayne; adult paint nights at Three Canyons Restaurant; and private paint parties for any age.
