2020 Operating Plan
In response to the COVID 19 pandemic
I have missed everyone so much and can’t wait to create more great artwork. Should you have any further concerns or suggestions, I am all ears. This is a learning and adaptive process – one that no one wanted – but let’s make the best of it!
- Payments. We request that all fees are paid electronically through our website (Paypal) or Venmo, OR monthly billing is available (which can be paid via Venmo or check).
- Waivers. Our past customers are familiar with our waiver form. We have updated our waiver considering today’s issues. This can be filled out online or a paper copy prior to class. This only needs to be filled out one time!!
- Limited class size. In some of our locations, we are limited in space. Due to social distancing guidelines, only 2 children will be sat at a table, which then means in some locations we can only accommodate 8-10 children per class. Reserving a seat may be a good idea! You can register online at our website (www.jumpinjaybirdstudio.com) or text me (307-690-4235) that you are coming to reserve a seat. If your child is a regular weekly artist, I ask the opposite – if you are not coming, just let me know!
- Drop-off and Pick-ups. We request that parents drop off artists at the classroom entrance so we can limit the number of people in our classrooms. Signage will be placed outside our classroom door with the social distancing requirements of 6-feet.
- Quick screening. As a precaution for all our artists, we will take a quick forehead temperature before entering our classroom. We will also give you a squirt of hand sanitizer before entering!
- Face Masks. Should parents want your artist to wear a face mask, it will be the parent’s responsibility to provide one. We will not require or provide!
- Sanitization. We will be wiping down the classroom doors, tables, chairs and countertops prior to class. Our aprons and tablecloths will be laundered daily. All supplies will be sprayed with disinfectant after each use.
- Breaks. As you know, we often have restroom or water fountain breaks. We request that all artist use the restroom prior to class. Should we have an emergency, artists will be allowed to use the restroom one at a time and will get a squirt of hand sanitizer prior to re-entering. We will NOT have water fountain breaks! Please pack a water bottle for your artist! We will also suspend any breaks in the hallways or gyms as I cannot control sanitization.
- Prior to coming to class, we respectfully request that you have a heart to heart with your artist on how this will all work! The social distancing thing will obviously be a tough one with kids, but I know they can do it. I will do my absolute best to keep them safe and within the guidelines while still having some fun. Should your artist or anyone in your family feels sick or in direct contact with someone testing COVID 19 positive, please refrain from participating as we want to protect others.
